The kimono and scarves that are a part of the LNH Resort collection came from the brains of Raleigh's local artist Susan Woodson, owner of Moondog Fine Arts Gallery. She initially brought up that she would love to see her artwork on a bohemian inspired kimono and I ran with it. The project could not have come at a better time. It came right as I was graduating from college and to be honest I had no idea what I was going to do. As if I was not anxious enough, I felt like there were these high expectations of me because only a year prior I had headlined my own show at New York Fashion Week.

So when the time came around I stayed in Raleigh to work on this project and to figure out what it was that I really wanted to do. I was able to explore the concept of zero-waste with our collection by creating complimenting products to our kimonos that helped us utilized every inch of the fabric. It also gave me the time I needed to develop my brand and learn how to properly run a business. I will be forever grateful to Susan for giving me a purpose after college and helping me transition to the very overwhelming adult life. 3 full collections later, and about 300 kimonos later, we have decided to hit pause. 

Unexpectedly I was able to use Raleigh, NC as a launchpad for my new career path of dressing celebrities in Los Angeles, California. I've been fortunate enough to have the opportunities to do red carpet dressings, music video costuming, and even Coachella. But now it has reached the point where it simply no longer makes sense to operate out of Raleigh. It's time for me to take that leap of faith and move back to California.

With that shift in focus, Susan and I have decided to take a hiatus from our collaboration. Therefore this is the last call for The Woodson Resort Collection but first round on us at Brewery Bhavana!

With only 25 kimonos and scarves left, help us sell out and end on high note. We will not be restocking. Below are some of our favorite styles.
